Homes in Goldington are mainly older homes and post-war housing. Before we start, we check the surface and its condition so the method suits your property - not a one-size-fits-all jet wash.

How our patio cleaning works in Goldington
- Survey - We identify the stone, check the pointing and note any loose slabs.
- Clear and weed - Pots and furniture are moved and weeds removed from the joints.
- Surface clean - A surface cleaner or controlled jet wash, with pressure set for the stone.
- Black spot treatment - Lichen on sandstone is treated with a specialist product as it does not wash off with water alone.
- Rinse - The patio and surrounding area are rinsed and left tidy.
- Optional re-pointing or sealing - Worn joints can be re-pointed and suitable stone can be sealed.
What to expect from patio cleaning in Goldington
Algae and dirt come off on the day. Black spot lichen treatments usually keep working for a few weeks after the visit, so the last marks can take a little time to fade.

Patio Cleaning in Goldington: FAQs
Do you offer patio cleaning across Goldington?
Yes. We cover Goldington (MK41) and the surrounding area. Call 07828 014411 or send the form below for a free, fixed-price quote.
How much does patio cleaning cost?
The price depends on the size, the surface and how much growth there is, so we give every customer a free, fixed-price quote - often from a few photos. There are no hidden extras. Our exterior cleaning prices guide explains what affects the cost.
Can you remove black spots from my patio?
Yes. Black spot is a lichen that roots into sandstone, so it needs a specialist treatment as well as cleaning. Most marks fade fully over the following weeks.
Is pressure washing safe for porcelain and sandstone?
Yes, with the right pressure and technique. Soft sandstone is cleaned more gently than porcelain, which is very hard-wearing.
Do I need to be home?
Not usually. We just need access to the patio and an outside tap.
